Our Staff

In addition to our wonderful volunteers, Our Savior is also blessed to have a dedicated and talented staff to lead and serve the people of our church and community.

Pastor Chuck Houska - Vacancy Pastor

The Board of Directors has asked me to serve as your Vancany Pastor through the month of August. As your Vancancy Pastor, I consider it an honor and privilege to serve you. Please let me or the church office know of any spiritual needs you have, such as illness, hospital visits, counseling, etc. Joan and I look forward to this journey with you, the people of OSL, in the months ahead. May the Lord bless us together.

John Wasson – Director of Worship Ministries

John leads the church’s awareness and growth as worshipers by developing and training worship leaders and teams, and by guiding the programming of weekend worship services and special events. He oversees the following areas of ministry: Choir, Praise Team, Instrumental Music, Youth Worship Teams, and Technical Production Teams.

David Thompson – Director of Ministry Development

David builds teams and develops leaders to launch new ministries that implement the vision of OSL. He oversees Adult Ministry and Communications, and helps in Children’s and Youth Ministry as well as special projects such as Kairos Offering and Easter Outreach.

Florene West – Preschool Director

Florene directs all aspects of our weekday Preschool program fro ages 18 months through 5 years. This includes extended care for the Preschool program and Preschool summer camps. Our Savior Preschool has a strong faith-based cirriculum with special instruction in chapel, Spanish, music, and Library.

Faith Nimtz – Director of Children’s Ministry

Faith directs all aspects of our ministry to children, ages birth through 5th grade. Ministries include children’s Sunday School, Power Up (kid’s worship during the 11:00 service), community service projects, as well as special events through the year.

Jack Janco – Parish Administrator

Jack executes on general managerial and administrative tasks. He oversees operation and maintenance of buildings and grounds, custodial services, human resources, and special projects for the Senior Pastor.

Jo Hinrichs – Accountant

Jo administers the finances of OSL.  She performs all accounting duties such as AR, AP, payroll, and budget.  She also implements all financial policies and helps with special projects throughout the year.

Sonja Cargill – Administrative Assistant

Sonja provides administrative support to the staff team by welcoming all visitors at the front desk, coordinating the staff calendar, receiving calls, managing printing, coordinating office volunteers, managing the church database, and administering special projects.

Brandy Hellwarth – Administrative Assistant

Brandy provides administrative support to the staff team and various ministries of OSL. She produces our weekly communications, such as the Happenings and OSL Announcements, as well as updates to the OSL website. Brandy also provides administrative support to OSL ministries such as Love Your Neighbor.
