A valuable part of being a part of the Body of Christ, that is the church, is the support we can provide for one another when we are in need. As sisters and brothers in Christ, we rally around each other when we are ill, we comfort those grieving the death of a loved one, we pray and walk besides those struggling with job issues and family turmoil and the like. Caring for one another is not just an opportunity but rather a calling to all of us as we serve one another in love. (Galatians 5:13). A particular, specialized part of this care support structure of our congregation is Stephen Ministry through one-on-one Christian care giving.

Stephen Ministers are men and women who have completed their intensive and specialized training.

We also ask for your ongoing support of this ministry by:

1. Praying for Stephen Ministers, leaders, and care receivers

2. Learning how to use this valuable ministry of our church

3. Referring people who could use the care of Stephen Ministry to the Stephen leaders
