A daily Lenten Devotional is also available to aid you in drawing nearer to God during this very significant time. Pick one up today or download it from the church website oslmckinney.org

Global Links
OSL is linked to Slovakia, where GEO missionary Eric Richter serves. He writes, “I have some good news regarding the ‘Friday Night Lights’ Bible study. I was really bummed for quite some time that attendance was so low for this Bible study, especially because to me the television show lends itself so well to highlighting biblical themes and then making a connection from the character’s lives and problems to the kids’ own lives. Suddenly, two weeks ago, our attendance doubled and even increased a little bit more this week. The kids really love the show (it’s quite engaging and hooks you right in)-even the new kids that joined late (who we are trying to get up to speed as best we can) enjoy it and are returning. I think the format of watching an episode and then discussing it works well too. Participation is great. When we ask a question, we do not have to prod answers out of the kids-they are ready to answer and discuss the issues. It’s very exciting to see a Bible study return to the forefront of our activities, and to gain more participants.”
