What to Expect at OSL
What to expect at worship at Our Savior:
What should I wear to church/worship?
While we welcome you to come as you are and to be comfortable with whatever you wear, some people would rather know ahead of time what everyone else will be wearing. People here wear a variety of clothes to our worship services from suits and ties to jeans and cowboy boots. Most of the guys though wear polo shirts and khaki pants or shorts. The ladies wear dresses, skirts, blouses, pants and shorts.
Will you make visitors stand up and introduce themselves?
No, we will not make you stand out. On a normal weekend we are blessed to have over 50 guests in our worship services so chances are you may even be sitting by someone who is also visiting. At the beginning of each service we allow for a short period of greeting among the congregation and we encourage our members to introduce themselves to people they don’t know. At the end of the service, our pastors will greet everyone as they leave the sanctuary. If you are visiting with us, please introduce yourselves. We also invite you to stop by our welcome center in the atrium of the church to pick up some information about the congregation and enjoy a cup of coffee.
We have plenty of parking available on campus. Upon turning into the campus from Virginia you can go either right or left. Going to the right will take you to the front door of the Church. To the left is our larger parking lot, which usually has space available. To find the sanctuary, enter the doors under the awning located in the circular drop off.
