Women’s Ministry

Lutheran Women’s Missionary League

This group of women meets monthly to spend time in God’s Word, fellowship and focusing on mission projects both locally and around the world. Some of the projects the LWML has accomplished are hundreds of boxes every year for Operation Christmas Child and hundreds of Health Kits for Lutheran World Relief. All women are invited to the meetings.

Over the years, the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League has stepped out in faith, setting goals, and trusting God to move the hearts of His people to give generously to LWML to proclaim the Gospel. Each year local LWML organizations collect ‘mites’ for the purpose of reaching out to others with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Districts retain 75% of mite offerings for the works of the LWML at that level.  National mites fund over $1 million in mission grants.  LWML collects ‘mites’ each month in the small mite boxes.  Please consider helping LWML with its mission projects by picking up one of the small ‘mite’ boxes located on the roller cart in the atrium each Sunday.
